Book your event at Mystic Sky Ranch. Our expansive property allows for a vastly unique experience for your next event.

The Kitchen

Our state-of-the-art kitchen facility features a 1200+ square foot commercial kitchen, fully equipped with all the latest bells and whistles needed to crank out spectacular meals, both large and small. The adjacent open and light filled 1200+ square foot dining room is inviting and relaxing with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto Hill Country nature. Windows are equipped with electric black out shades for audio-visual presentations during day light hours. Large flat screen TV is perfect for slideshows or videos for meetings or celebrations.

The Barn

Our outdoor event barn is adjacent to the kitchen, accessible by a 70′ covered walkway. Slide the 8 barn doors open for a breezy open feeling. Close them for a quiet, intimate experience. Cafe lights lend a warm, romantic feel. Seats 100 in about 1800 square fee. Perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners, farm-to-table dinners, yoga/wellness retreats or cocktails before an event in kitchen dining room. We offer two wooden bars on rollers, large ceiling fans and provide 4 tall space heaters. Outdoor covered event barn can seat up to 100. A tent may be added for additional space.

Infinity Pool Entertaining Area

Our infinity pool entertaining area includes a 9 foot antique pine table to seat 10, outdoor fireplace, refrigerator, ice maker, burner & grill, changing area, sitting area, teak chaise lounge chairs, floating style chairs, umbrellas and restroom. Weather permitting this is a beautiful place for cocktail hour before an event, rehearsal gathering or any celebration. Round top tables/high top tables, bar may be added.

Italian Pizza Oven

Mystic Sky Ranch has a Mugnaini Italian pizza oven next to the Italian farmhouse. This is an intimate setting for 8-10 guests for a private dinner under the stars. We are happy to provide a chef to host a ‘build your own’ pizza event. Perfect for book clubs, ladies reunions, showers, birthdays. The ability to cook right next to a live flame transforms any recipe into a meal to remember. Dine alfresco in the fresh Hill Country air and let’s fire up delicious possibilities together!

  • 7 – 5′ rounds (seats 8 each using our chairs or 10 each using rental armless chairs)

  • 10 – 6′ tables (seats 8 each)
  • 70 – Tabouret-style metal arm chairs

Linens and Serviceware

Ivory, black, grey and twig green linens are available for use on round tables. Ivory, white and grey linens for 6′ rectangles

Our plates are white and an eclectic mix of Pottery Barn colors. Flatware stainless for 75. Water, wine, champagne glasses are clear glass.

Napkins: cream/white

Service Layouts

We offer buffet service, table service and family-style service in our dining room.

For sit down dinner service with no buffet or musicians, dining room can seat approximately 80. Buffet service seats approximately 75. The outdoor covered Event Barn venue can seat 100.

For classes, the room is set up with stainless steel work stations.
For meetings, the room can be laid out to meet your needs for speeches, breakout sessions or seminars.

Cooking Classes

We can accommodate up to 30 hands-on cooks and additional spectators. Average class sizes are 15-20. Students and spectators dine together at the end of class and receive printed handouts of recipes prepared. Let us customize your own private class or company team building event!

Mystic Sky Ranch Meeting Room Rates

If your group is using our facility for a class or dining event, meeting rooms fees will be either waived or discounted, depending on the needs of the event. Room rates vary from $200.00 per hour to $375 per hour, depending on needs of your group. A four-hour minimum is required. You may not bring food in unless with special pre-arranged permission.

Minimum Service Fee

Service fee is dependent on details of event. It includes use of our service ware including silverware, plates, glasses, tables, chairs and linens. If others are required, rental rates will apply. This is based on a 4-hour time span. More time and staff may be necessary for your event, depending on guest count and other needs. FYI for catering: table service may add more personnel to your fee, depending on menu and guest count. Buffet service usually more economical.

Liquor

As we do not have a liquor license, you may bring in your own. We can provide glassware and service at a fee to be negotiated per event. For example, the charge may run $4 per bottle of wine/champagne that is opened and/or $6 per case of beer. Should a TABC bartender be required, we can help arrange one (minimum 4 hours). We can set up a self-serve bar if desired.

Ice

Basic ice for general usage is included. If additional ice for event, such as stock tanks or large group, additional fees apply.

Food

We recommend using our caterer, Sibby Travis Barrett of Onion Creek Kitchens. She can provide sample menus and pricing upon request. We can serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. You may use another catering company however, we require a contract directly with them. We can offer other preferred caterers as well.

Reservations and Payments for Special Events

When booking a special event:

  • 50% ESTIMATED TOTAL CONFIRM DATE
  • 6 weeks (42 days) in advance – ESTIMATED BALANCE DUE

Reservations, Cancellations and Deadlines Policy

Special events and private classes require a 30-day cancellation notice.

Refund policy:

  • 30 days or more: full refund, less $100.00 fee
  • 29 -14 days: 25% will be retained
  • 13 days or less: no refund can be issued. All refunds made by check in 5 business days.
